Nicole Westerlund

Nicole Westerlund has extensive work experience in various roles related to branding, design, and marketing. Nicole began their career in 2001 at WOW Branding, where they worked as a conceptualist for about a year. Nicole then joined Cakeworks Inc. as a graphic designer from September 2005 to April 2011. In 2011, Nicole moved to DirectWest, where they initially worked as an artist in corporate marketing until October 2015 when they transitioned to the role of marketing manager, focusing on brand management. Nicole continued in this position until April 2019. From 2006 to 2020, Nicole also ran their own business, Nicole Westerlund Design, as a freelance designer and branding consultant. Currently, they are employed at Conexus Credit Union, starting in April 2019 as the manager of public relations. In March 2020, they were promoted to the position of Vice President - Member + Community Engagement. Continuing their career progression, Nicole is currently serving as Vice President, Brand at Conexus Credit Union, starting September 2023.

Nicole Westerlund has attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where they pursued a degree in Graphic Design & Visual Communication. Nicole also studied English, Arts, and Humanities at the University of Regina. In 2014, Nicole obtained an Integrated Branding Online Certificate Course from the Canadian Marketing Association.
