Colin Beck

Director of Forest Management at CONFEDERATED TRIBES OF COOS, LOWER UMPQUA AND SIUSLAW INDIANS

Colin Beck has held various roles in the forestry and environmental industries since 2004. From 2015 to 2019, they worked for the Coquille Indian Tribe as Forest Manager and Natural Resources Director. During that same period, they also worked as a Log Scaler for the Mountain Western Log Scaling and Grading Bureau. In 2019, they joined the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua & Siuslaw Indians as Director of Forest Management, Forest Lands Manager, and Forester. Prior to that, they worked as an Environmental Consultant for himself.

Colin Beck attended Lewis & Clark Law School from 2006 to 2009 and obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) with an emphasis in Environmental and Natural Resource Law. Colin also attended Portland State University from 2006 to 2014 to earn a Graduate Certificate in Hydrology. From 2001 to 2004, they attended Southern Oregon University, where they received a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies and Geology.
