Ash Laframboise

She is from Opwaaganisiniing Red Rock Indian Band. She is a teacher, passionate about sharing in academics and culture. Relocating to Thunder Bay to pursue HBA/BEd in Education and Indigenous Learning, She found comfort and connection through spending time learning and sharing in Anishinaabe culture and continuing to visit home for land-based activities.

Employed through the Children’s Centre Thunder Bay and Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre, She had been able to share in my experience moving from my home community to the city and inspire youth to continue to pursue their dreams by utilizing their gifts in their bundle - whether that be an Eagle feather, or a hockey stick.
