Senior Fellow, Human Capital at The Conference Board

Marty Belle is a Senior Fellow in the Human Capital Center of The Conference Board. With over 30 years’ HR experience, Marty is skilled in the alignment of people strategy with business strategy to drive the productivity and employee engagement required to deliver bottom-line results.

He has extensive international and domestic experience in business management, operations, and multisite HR leadership in a diverse range of global Fortune 500 corporations. Marty’s accomplishments include building high-performance teams, reengineering business processes, and leading cultural transformation including diversity initiatives at local, divisional, and corporate levels in both union and nonunion environments.

Marty was named a top executive in Corporate Diversity by Black Enterprise magazine and has served on the Diversity Committee of the American Red Cross of Chicago and Northern Illinois—a nonprofit humanitarian organization with the mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

Marty has a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Executive Network HR People + Strategy.
