Deborah Stokes

Deborah Stokes, CMP, CEM has a diverse work experience in the event management industry. Deborah is currently serving as the President & Managing Partner at Conference Managers since January 2021. Previously, they worked at GES - Global Experience Specialists where they held multiple roles. Deborah was an Executive Producer from September 2019 to January 2021, a National Account Manager from June 2010 to September 2019, and an Account Management Supervisor from May 2007 to June 2010. Before that, they worked as an Account Manager at Global Experience Specialists from January 2005 to May 2007.

Deborah Stokes, CMP, CEM obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis, where they studied from 1989 to 1995. Deborah also holds additional certifications, including a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation from the Events Industry Council, obtained in January 2002. Deborah recently completed a certification in Neuroscience of Exhibitions & Events from Madison Area Technical College in December 2022.
