Margaret Liu

Margaret Liu is an Executive Vice President and Acting General Counsel at Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS). Prior to their current role, Margaret served as a Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, as well as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel within the same company. Margaret also has experience as an Independent Financial Services Consultant, where Margaret provided strategic policy advice to clients such as Prism Public Affairs and Dome Advisory. Margaret previously held roles at Fannie Mae and Hogan & Hartson LLP. Margaret holds a degree in Government from Harvard University and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.

The Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) is the nationwide organization of banking regulators from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
