Kaylyn Carter has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kaylyn began their career as a Sales Merchandiser at The Blue Giraffe in 2010 and later worked as a Barista at La Colombe Coffee Roasters from 2016 to 2020. During this time, Kaylyn also interned at Poor Truman Creative Services in 2016.

In 2016, they joined The Repertory Theatre in Seaside, FL, first as an Intern & Box Office Manager and later as an Actor from 2012 to 2013. Following this, they worked as a Teaching Artist at Northlight Theatre from 2017 to 2020, where they conducted drama programs for students and led workshops for the Evanston Scholars Program Partnership.

Kaylyn served as a Creative Services Intern at Poor Truman Creative Services in 2016. In 2020, they worked as a Copywriter at SEOButler.com, gaining experience in SEO, guest posts, technical blogs, and website content.

From 2020 to 2022, Kaylyn was the Communication & Fulfillment Manager at Half Light Honey. Their responsibilities included overseeing studio operations, managing inventory, and handling wholesale/retail order management.

Kaylyn then joined Playmakers Laboratory Theatre in 2018 as a Teaching Artist and Company Member. In this role, they taught creative writing residencies, produced online video content, and assisted in fundraising and social media marketing efforts.

Most recently, in 2022, Kaylyn started working as a Marketing Administrative Assistant at Confetti.

Kaylyn Carter completed their Bachelor's degree in Theatre/Theater from Florida State University. Kaylyn attended from 2012 to 2016.
