Dr. Markus Lindemann

Dr. Markus Lindemann has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Dr. Markus began their career in 1999 as a Regional Sales Manager at Software AG, specializing in webMethods. Dr. Markus then joined SAP in 2004, working as a Consulting Sales & Manager Operations. In 2008, Dr. Lindemann became a Partner & Managing Director at Stampa Group. In 2013, they transitioned to the University of Applied Sciences Aachen as a Professor of Business Information Systems. In 2014, they joined Configit as GM DACH, responsible for the German-speaking region. In 2020, they took on the role of GM & VP Sales EMEA, overseeing sales operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Configit.

Dr. Markus attended the University of Mannheim from 1990 to 1996 and obtained a degree in Business Administration and Computer Science, specifically a Dipl.-Wirtschaftsinformatiker. From 1996 to 1998, they pursued further studies at the University of St.Gallen, where they earned a Dr. oec in Media and Communications Management. In 1998, Dr. Lindemann continued their academic endeavors as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Maryland, focusing on Information Systems. Finally, from 2011 to 2013, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Controlling and Accounting at the University of Münster.
