Michiel Roosen

Michiel Roosen has a diverse work experience starting from 2007. Michiel worked as a Service Medewerker at Pathe de Munt from March 2007 to October 2009. Michiel then served as an Assistent Lector Aviation Engineering at Hogeschool van Amsterdam from April 2010 to August 2010. Michiel also worked as an Onderzoeksassistent at Blue Wave Consulting Company B.V. i.s.m. TUDelft from November 2010 to May 2011, assisting with a research project. From June 2011 to April 2015, they held multiple roles including Support Engineer, Onsite Sales Engineer, and Account Manager at SMC Pneumatics BV.

In 2015, Michiel joined Merford as a CPQ Implementation Lead/Sales Engineer, where they led the implementation of Sofon CPQ and provided sales support for standard and custom products. From October 2017 to March 2018, they worked as a Sales Engineer at EuroSort, optimizing and standardizing quote creation processes. In 2018, they joined Cadmes as a Tacton CPQ Consultant, assisting clients with implementing Tacton CPQ software and providing process improvement recommendations.

Coming to their recent experiences, Michiel worked at Pianist Michiel Roosen as a Performing Pianist and Composer since September 2005. Michiel also served as a Personal Assistant/Event Manager from May 2010 to August 2013. Currently, they are also working at Configit as a Solution Architect, starting from January 2022, and as a Presales Engineer from October 2022. Overall, Michiel has demonstrated expertise in sales, engineering, configuration, and project management throughout their career.

Michiel Roosen completed their Bachelor's degree in Kunst&Techniek from Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 2003 to 2005. Following this, they pursued a B.Eng in Aviation Engineering from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences between 2005 and 2010. Apart from their formal education, Michiel obtained various certifications including Configit Certified Software Engineer, Application Development Competence, Product Modeling Competence, and PRINCE2 Foundation certificate in Project Management. However, it is unclear whether they have obtained the Tacton CPQ certificate, Tacton Modeler Certificate, and Veiligheid voor Operationeel Leidinggevenden VCA.
