Naufil Hassan

Naufil Hassan is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in machine learning and computer vision. Currently serving as a Principal Data Scientist at Confiz since September 2018, Naufil specializes in sales forecasting and the implementation of time series algorithms, as well as building scalable pipelines for model training. Previously, as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer, Naufil developed an AI module for customer behavior analytics in retail settings. Prior roles include Research Assistant at Information Technology University, where Naufil successfully completed projects in activity recognition, and Algorithm Engineer at KICS, focusing on Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for the URDU language. Naufil holds a Master of Science in Data Science and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, along with additional qualifications in Edge Computing and a MicroMasters in Data Science from UC San Diego.
