Brooks Barge

Brooks is a partner at the firm, serves on the firm’s board of managers, and runs a US-focused equity portfolio. Prior to joining Confluence, Brooks was a partner for sixteen years at a New York City-based hedge fund. Brooks has been investing since the seventh grade and has been very actively investing in hedge funds, private equity, and real estate over the past decade. Brooks helps lead our firm’s Partner’s fund, which makes outside investments on behalf of the partnership. As well, Brooks serves on the board of Skyland Trail, an organization focused on the treatment of mental health issues, and enjoys coaching his three sons in sports. Brooks earned a bachelor’s degree and Certificate in Markets and Management from Duke University.
