Jessica Oberholster

Jessica Oberholster has diverse work experience spanning different roles and responsibilities. Jessica is currently employed as a Software QA Engineer at Confluence since October 2022.

Prior to this, Jessica worked at dotsure.co.za, where they held multiple roles within the development team. As an Operations Coordinator from April 2021 to September 2022, they focused on project coordination, business analysis, and testing responsibilities. Jessica'sresponsibilities included ensuring project timelines, promoting communication within the development and testing teams, and reporting technical issues.

Before their role as an Operations Coordinator, Jessica worked as a Software Quality Assurance Tester at dotsure.co.za from April 2019 to March 2021. In this position, their responsibilities included reporting and documenting technical issues, setting up test plans, executing test cases, and troubleshooting issues.

Jessica also has experience as a Business Development Manager at Fintech Systems from January 2019 to September 2019. Jessica'stasks included website management, marketing material design, and functionality and requirements analysis for a business automation system.

Jessica worked as a Business Analyst at DataTill from December 2016 to November 2018, where they focused on creating functional specifications, testing developers' work, and logging feature requests and bugs.

Jessica briefly worked as an Implementation Consultant at Sybrin Limited in 2016. Jessica'sresponsibilities included configuring systems, solving data problems using SQL queries, and updating and setting standards for the department's wiki entries.

In this role, Jessica was involved in a full system project for a real-world client, DLM Construction (Pty) Ltd. Jessica'sresponsibilities included testing, creating functional specification documents, and user manuals.

Jessica Oberholster completed their education with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Informatics from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria. Jessica studied there from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science at the same university in 2010. Jessica'ssecondary education was completed at Hans Moore High from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Matric qualification. In addition to their formal education, Jessica also obtained a certification in ISTQB foundation level from the Southern African Software Testing Qualifications Board (SASTQB) in May 2021.
