Colin McCabe

Colin McCabe is a Principal Engineer at Confluent since November 2016, with a strong background in software engineering and system architecture. Prior experience includes roles such as Software Engineer at Cloudera, where work focused on Hadoop Distributed Filesystem (HDFS), Apache Kudu, Apache Spark, and Apache Sentry. Colin has also held positions at NVIDIA Kernel Team, Dreamhost (involved with the Ceph open-source distributed filesystem), Lab126 (contributing to Kindle software improvements), Locust Storage (as the first software engineer developing network-attached storage products), cozybit, Inc.
