Mahesh Balakrishnan

Mahesh Balakrishnan is a Senior Principal Engineer at Confluent with a diverse background in software engineering and academic positions. Previously, Mahesh served as a Software Engineer and Visiting Professor at Facebook, and held the role of Associate Professor at Yale University. Mahesh's industry experience includes positions as a Senior Researcher at VMware and a Researcher at Microsoft Research. Mahesh earned a PhD in Computer Science from Cornell University and a BS in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
