Matt Crole Rees has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Matt began their career as a Data Manager at Loot in 2002 and later worked as a Space Planning and Merchandising Analyst at Tesco in 2006. In 2007, Matt joined the Daily Mail as a Circulation Analytics Manager, staying with the company until 2010. Matt then transitioned to Confused.com, where they held various positions including Marketing Planning Manager, Head of ECRM, Head of Marketing - Carfused, and Head of Customer Marketing. Their most recent role at Confused.com was as the Head of Customer - Acquisition & Retention Marketing, from August 2017 onwards. Overall, Matt has a strong background in marketing, customer acquisition and retention, and analytics.
Matt Crole Rees completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Operational Research at the University of Birmingham from 2001 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Sports Science from the same university from 1998 to 2001.
In 2022 and 2023, Matt attended The Marketing Leadership Masterclass for an unspecified degree or field of study. Matt obtained a certification from the program, known as The Marketing Leadership Masterclass (DN), in February 2023.
