Leo Fuchs

Leo Fuchs has a diverse work experience. Leo began their career as a Corps Member with Teach For America in 2000 and served until 2002. Leo then worked as a Resource Specialist at Frick Middle School from 2000 to 2004. Leo then moved on to Explore Middle School, where they held the position of Teacher on Special Assignment from 2004 to 2006. Leo subsequently worked as an Assistant Principal at Jefferson Elementary School from 2006 to 2007. Leo then served as the Principal at Learning Without Limits Elementary - Education for Change from 2007 to 2018. Currently, they are the Director of Youth and Family Education at Congregation Emanu-El of San Francisco, a position they have held since May 2021. Leo also attended Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion as a Rabbinical Student from 2018 to present.

Leo Fuchs' education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from Brandeis University, which they completed from 1994 to 1998. Leo then pursued a Master of Management degree in Child, Youth and Family Services at The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, completing it from 1998 to 1999. Later, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Education from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2004 to 2005.
