Zachary Aron

Zachary Aron has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry and research. Zachary is currently the Director of Chemistry at Congruence Therapeutics since May 2022. Prior to that, they started their own consulting company, ZDA Consulting, where they served as the President since February 2022.

Before their consulting company, Zachary worked at Microbiotix, Inc for a significant period. Zachary held multiple roles at the company, including Chief Scientific Officer from August 2021 to December 2021, Director of Chemistry from June 2016 to August 2021, and Senior Scientist from July 2015 to June 2016.

In 2014, Zachary worked as a Contract Medicinal Chemist at Celgene from January 2014 to June 2015. Prior to their industry experience, they worked as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Indiana University Bloomington from July 2007 to December 2013.

Zachary's early career involved research positions. Zachary worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at Harvard Medical School from 2004 to 2007 and was a Graduate Student at the University of California, Irvine from 1999 to 2004.

Zachary Aron began their education at Niles North High School, where they attended from 1991 to 1995. Zachary then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completing their studies from 1995 to 1999. Following this, they moved on to UC Irvine, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry between 1999 and 2004. Zachary furthered their education at Harvard Medical School, focusing on Biochemistry as a Post Doctoral student from 2005 to 2007.
