Kevin O’Hara is the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman at Congruex. Prior to this, they were the Chairman of the Board at Elemental Technologies from January 2011 to October 2015. Elemental Technologies is a leading supplier of software-defined video solutions for multiscreen content delivery. Founded in 2006, the company pioneered the use of software-based video processing to distribute video over IP networks. Solutions from Elemental provide the flexibility, scalability and performance required to deliver high quality video via turnkey, cloud-based and virtualized deployment models. The company has offices around the globe.

From September 2014 to January 2011, Kevin O’Hara was the Chief Executive Officer and President at Integra Telecom. Integra is a leading facility based communication service provider serving business customers in 11 western states. Kevin assumed the CEO position to lead a turn-around of the business after a tumultuous 4 year period of time where a difficult acquisition and unfavorable economic conditions had caused the company's revenue and EBITDA to decline dramatically, forcing the company to voluntarily restructure.

Upon assuming the leadership role, accelerated a strategic realignment of the company to emphasize mid-market enterprise customers that could be served utilizing Integra controlled fiber and facilities. During their tenure, the company experienced stable top line revenue and saw the quality of that revenue improve materially; revenue from strategic products grew from 24% of the base to 47%, and revenue from customers billing greater than $1k/Mo. grew from 58% to 69%. At the end of their first full year, annualized EBITDA had expanded approximately 15%, and unlevered free cash flow grew from slightly negative to 17% of revenue. On the back of the improving operations and an improved outlook, refinanced and then subsequently re-priced all outstanding debt creating an almost $20M annual cash interest savings. despite the dramatic changes within the company, was able to reduce revenue churn to an industry leading 1.1%.

As a result of the improved operations, successfully completed the first two strategic acquisitions by the company in almost 7 years.

Kevin O’Hara has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BSEE from Drexel University.
