Michael Sciarabba

Michael Sciarabba has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, holding various leadership roles. Michael has recently worked as a Senior Director of Patient Services at Conifer Health Solutions since 2022. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2022, they served as a Director of Patient Access Services at UChicago Medicine, where they aligned organizational goals and built relationships across departments. From 2016 to 2019, they were a System Director of Patient Access at R1 RCM, responsible for patient access operations across a group of 16 hospitals. In 2016, they briefly served as the Vice President of Patient Access Services at American Health Connection, where they improved operations and implemented new initiatives. From 2014 to 2016, they led patient access operations as a Patient Access Director at UCSF Medical Center, overseeing various departments and completing important projects. Lastly, from 2003 to 2014, they held several leadership roles, including Administrator of Patient Access, Bed Management, and Support Services Operations, at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. In the early years of their career, they started as a Hospital Volunteer and progressed to become a Manager of Registration and Scheduling Services at Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare.

Michael Sciarabba holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Saint Xavier University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Elmhurst University. Michael also has additional certifications in Healthcare Project Management from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) from the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM), and Managed Care Certification from Elmhurst University.
