Steve Taylor

Steve Taylor currently serves as Treasurer for the IADC Southern Arabian Peninsula Chapter since November 2023 and as Business Development Director at Connect Energy, overseeing regional growth and customer service initiatives. With extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, Taylor held key leadership roles including HR & Client Engagement Director/Owner at IAS International Oil & Gas Consultants from January 2019 to August 2023, Managing Director at OCB Oilfield Services DMCC from May 2017 to January 2019, and Operations Director at AOS International from June 2014 to April 2017. Earlier positions include General Manager of International Operations at Offshore Marine Services and Global HR Director for Weatherford Drilling International. Taylor's educational background includes an HND in Business Studies from North East Scotland College.
