Michael Chang, Assoc. AIA has over 10 years of experience in the architecture and construction industry. Michael is currently employed as a Construction Project Manager and Project Engineer at Connect Homes since 2021. Prior to this, they were a Freelance Project Manager | Designer from 2021. From 2015-2021, they worked at Egan | Simon Architecture as a Project Manager | Construction Manager and Job Captain. From 2013-2015 they worked at J.T. Nakaoka Associates Architects as a Draftsman. From 2012-2013 they worked at Sally Swanson Architects, Inc. as a Junior Designer and Access/Architectural Intern. In 2012, they worked as a Model Maker Intern at Architecture for Humanity. From 2008-2012, they worked at California College of the Arts as a Communications Marketing Assistant.

Michael Chang, Assoc. AIA, holds a Master of Construction Management from the NewSchool of Architecture & Design, which they obtained in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's of Architecture from the California College of the Arts in 2012. Michael also holds an OSHA 10 certification from 360training, which they obtained in January 2022.
