Alan Crabb

Alan Crabb currently serves as the Network Operations Director at Connect Plus Services, a role assumed in August 2025, where responsibilities include overseeing the safety, operations, and security of the M25 and associated sections of the road network. Prior to this, Alan held various positions at Balfour Beatty plc from September 2003 to August 2025, including Project Director and Senior Project Manager, contributing significantly to projects such as the Southern National Emergency Area Retrofit scheme and the M3 J9-14 central reserve safety upgrade scheme. Initially starting as a Site Engineer after completing a degree in Civil Engineering, Alan has progressed through multiple roles in construction management, site operations, and project delivery, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and efficiency in large-scale infrastructure projects.
