Mandar Chandorkar

Mandar Chandorkar has a strong background in data science and machine learning. Mandar'smost recent position was as the Lead Data Scientist at Connecterra, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining the cow-health alerts service in the company's dairy farming assistant. Mandar also engineered large-scale model training, validation, and serving workflows. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist - Machine Learning at Connecterra, focusing on research, prototyping, and deployment of machine learning models and pipelines for dairy-tech.

Before joining Connecterra, Mandar served as a PHD Researcher at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica, where they focused on machine learning applications in Space Weather. Mandar proposed a novel machine learning method for estimating propagation time of physical disturbances and developed open-source software platforms for machine learning in the plasma physics domain.
