Kristi Oki is a Program Innovation Manager at the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT), leading the Program Innovation Office since September 2017. In this role, Kristi champions process improvements, designs tools and resources, and analyzes data to meet program goals. Previously, Kristi served as a Project/Mechanical Engineer, managing projects in support of Industry 4.0 and digital technologies, and as an Advanced Technology Education Coordinator, promoting technical educational programming. Kristi also coordinated experiential STEM programming for K-12 students, engaging over 1700 annually. At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Kristi worked as an Instructor in the Women's Technology Program, a Graduate Research Assistant, and a Teaching Assistant in Mechanical Engineering. Kristi began research at Yale University in the Bonde Artificial Heart Lab, developing CAD models for medical devices. Kristi holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Sciences from Yale University.
