Claire Himmel

Claire Himmel is a dedicated and enthusiastic professional currently serving as a Climbing Wall Assistant at Connecticut College, where responsibilities include facilitating open climbs, inspiring confidence in the community, and ensuring safety through routine checks. As an Outdoor Adventures Trip Leader, Claire coordinates and leads student-centered outdoor trips that emphasize challenge, excitement, and personal growth. Previous experience includes a role as a Women in Politics Officer of Communications, managing social media to boost community engagement, and various positions in outdoor education and sustainability, including Cabin Counselor/Trip Leader at Farm & Wilderness Foundation and Sustainability Intern at Good To-Go.
