O. John Maduko

O. John Maduko, M.D. has a diverse range of work experience in various leadership and academic roles. From 2022 onwards, they served as the President of Connecticut State Community College, overseeing the largest community college in New England and the Northeastern United States. Prior to this, they were an Aspen Rising Presidents Fellow at The Aspen Institute, where they engaged in an intensive executive leadership program. In 2021, Dr. Maduko also served as a Commission Member on Student Success for the American Association of Community Colleges. O. John has held positions such as Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs at North Central Texas College, and Academic Dean at Rasmussen University. Dr. Maduko also served as President-Elect for the Texas Community College Instructional Administrators. Apart from their academic roles, they have been involved in various boards, including the American Conference of Academic Deans and the United Way of Denton County. Overall, Dr. Maduko's work experience reflects their commitment to education, student success, and community engagement.

O. John Maduko, M.D. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, completing their studies from 1999 to 2004. O. John then pursued Medicine at St. Matthew's University and earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from 2004 to 2008. In addition, O. John Maduko, M.D. has obtained additional certifications, including being an Aspen Rising Presidents Fellow in 2021 and a Fellow of The Thomas Lakin Institute of Mentored Leadership in 2018.
