Shannon Carter

Shannon is a Data Analyst at Connecticut Veterans Legal Center. She was previously a Research Assistant at the Housing and Health Equity Lab through the Yale School of Public Health. Her background in qualitative research centers primarily on the intersection of housing instability and homelessness with substance use. Their work is driven by a philosophy of harm reduction and dignity for vulnerable populations. Shannon is working toward their MPH in Health Policy with a concentration in Health Justice from Yale School of Public Health. She has a BS in Public Health from Southern Connecticut State University.
