Yvonne Day

Yvonne Day has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in managing medical records. Yvonne started their career in 2004 as a Health Information Associate at LifeBridge Health, where they maintained medical records for two clinics and implemented effective record filing systems. Yvonne also handled office release of information requests and managed record keeping systems.

In 2005, Yvonne joined Northwest Hospital Center as a Unit Clerk, providing clerical support to nursing staff and maintaining patient unit charts. Yvonne transcribed provider's orders and entered data for various departments.

From 2007 to 2009, Yvonne worked at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center as a Health Information Management Team Leader. In this role, they led a team of 10 employees, overseeing scanning, filing, and ensuring accuracy in processing electronic records for the Emergency Department.

Yvonne then transitioned to a Regional Medical Records Supervisor position at Corizon Health from 2009 to 2010. Yvonne supervised multiple medical records departments in Delaware correctional facilities, implemented policies and processes, and managed staff scheduling and training.

In 2010, Yvonne joined Correct Care Solutions as a Regional Medical Records Supervisor, where they continued to supervise medical record departments in Delaware correctional facilities and ensured compliance with confidentiality and security guidelines.

Currently, Yvonne is serving as the Statewide Director of Medical Records at Connections Community Support Programs, Inc. Since 2014, they have been directing medical record departments in Delaware correctional facilities, implementing policies, processes, and guidelines for compliance. Yvonne is also responsible for standardizing medical forms.

Yvonne Day attended DeVry University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician.
