Veronica Simes LPC, RN, NCC is a seasoned professional in the fields of counseling and nursing, currently serving as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Connections Wellness Group since March 2021. With a diverse background, Veronica has held positions as a counselor at Mind and Heart Counseling and The Wellness Center for Older Adults, where responsibilities included coordinating the Project Independence program and providing in-home counseling for seniors. Earlier experience encompasses roles as a Nurse Health Coach at American Specialty Health and various nursing positions, including Patient Satisfaction Coordinator at Baylor Surgicare at Plano. Veronica holds a Master of Science in Counseling and Development and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from Texas Woman's University, along with an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing.
