James Rouse

James Rouse has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and design. James started their career at Beca in 2004, working as a Power Systems Engineer until 2008. James then joined Freedom Group as a Design Engineer from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, James worked as a Design Engineer specializing in Renewable Generation at Mott MacDonald for a short period. James then moved to Mitton Electronet Ltd in 2011 and held multiple roles, including Power Systems Engineer & Generation Team Leader, Principal Engineer, and Market Leader (Distribution) until 2020. Currently, James is working at Connetics as the Head of Design & Engineering, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Design Solutions Manager at Connetics from 2020 to November 2022.

James Rouse completed their Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Canterbury between 2001 and 2004. James also holds a certification as a Chartered Engineer from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
