Louise Burger

Louise Burger has a strong background in education, with the majority of their career spent in the Connetquot Central School District. Louise started as a Mathematics Teacher in 1994 and eventually became the Mathematics Chairperson Secondary. In 2006, Louise transitioned to the role of Assistant Principal before becoming the Director of Mathematics & Computer Science K-12 in 2016. In 2010, they also took on the role of Principal at Eastern Suffolk BOCES.

Louise Burger has a diverse and extensive education history. Louise earned their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Dowling College from 1988 to 1992. During this time, they also completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mathematics. Continuing their academic journey, Louise pursued a Master's Degree in Secondary Education from Dowling College, which they successfully obtained from 1996 to 1999. Later on, they further enhanced their qualifications by completing a Professional Diploma in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Queens College, a program they attended from 2001 to 2003.
