Bert Meerbeek

Bert Meerbeek has a robust background in the rail and transport industry, spanning several decades. Since March 1982, Bert has served at Connexxion, with roles including Manager Railmaterieel and Werkplaats Manager Rail, where responsibilities included leading the Bokkeduinen workshop, providing technical support for new equipment purchases, and managing the procurement of train parts. Bert is also a fully authorized machinist. Prior to Connexxion, Bert worked at the Defensie Materieel Organisatie from January 1975 to March 1982 as a Technisch Specialist in the 5th echelon of materials. Bert's experience encompasses various technical and managerial positions, highlighting expertise in both rail and bus maintenance and operations.
