David Connolly, Jr. has extensive work experience in information systems management and project management. David started their career at Aetna in 1990 as a Business Systems Manager and worked there for six years. David then moved on to Philips where they served as a Group Systems Manager for a year. In 1997, they joined Florida Power & Light as a Project Manager for a year before joining For Eyes, Inc. as the Director of Management Information Systems. In 2000, they joined Conning Asset Management as the Managing Director of Information Systems. In this role, they had various responsibilities including agile project management, information security management, asset management systems, and IT governance. David also personally managed high-priority projects and guided subordinate project leaders.
David Connolly, Jr. obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Information Systems from the University of Hartford between 1992 and 1995. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aviation Management (with a minor in Computer Science) from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in 2019. David also has certifications as an ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) from the International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile) and as a PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, but the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
