Mark Saunders, FIA, CERA, is a Director and leads Conning’s European Risk Solutions operation, who are responsible for providing stochastic models and advice to firms across Europe. Previously Mark led the Risk Solutions team in Asia, specializing in providing risk management and strategic asset allocation software to the largest insurance companies in the region. Before joining Conning, Mark was an actuary at AXA where he modelled Solvency II risk capital. Mark has a degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Bristol, is a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA), and a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
