Maria C.

Maria C. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Maria started their most recent role as a Stewardship and Engagement Analyst at Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (CC&L) in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at E3 ECO GROUP INC. from January 2020 to December 2021.

In 2018, Maria was a Program Assistant at Metro Vancouver for a brief period from July to September. Before that, they held a similar position at the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council from July 2017 to February 2018.

Maria also has experience in the non-profit sector, having worked as an Administrative and Philanthropy Assistant at the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation from June 2016 to July 2017. Maria also interned as a Trade Intern at the Embassy of Canada in early 2016.

Finally, Maria started their career in 2014 as an Arts Student Development Assistant (Arts Co-op) at The University of British Columbia (Centre for Student Involvement and Careers) from January to August.

Maria C. began their education at Qatar Academy from 2007 to 2011, where they completed their high school studies and obtained their International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. Maria then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies at The University of British Columbia, which they attended from 2011 to 2016.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Maria C. decided to further their education and enrolled at EADA Business School from 2018 to 2019. During this time, they earned a Master's degree in Sustainable Business and Innovation.

In addition to their formal education, Maria C. also obtained certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. In 2015, they completed a certification in Urban Design and Planning from Simon Fraser University. More recently, in June 2023, they obtained a Certificate in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Investing from the CFA Institute.
