Venkat Parvatham

Venkat Parvatham has over 20 years of experience in the field of data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence. Venkat is currently serving as the Head of Data Engineering & Analytics & Insights (Senior Director) at Conn's HomePlus since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked for The Children's Place as the Director of Analytics and Data Science from June 2017 to June 2021. Venkat also served as the Client Partner - Business Analytics Practice at Sogeti (Capgemini) from January 2015 to May 2017. Before that, Venkat held various roles at Abbott, including Head of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence (Corp Division) from June 2009 to December 2014, and Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Architect from June 2005 to June 2009. Venkat started their career at IBM Global Services as a Business Intelligence Lead and also worked at Atos Origin as a Team Lead - Business Intelligence. Venkat began their professional journey as a Business Intelligence Analyst at ORACLE FINANCIAL SERVICES SOFTWARE LIMITED.

Venkat Parvatham completed a Chief Analytics Officer (CAO) Program specializing in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2022 to 2023. Venkat also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing/Marketing Management, General and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Digital Marketing from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, from 2011 to 2014. Earlier, they earned a Bachelor's in Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. Additionally, Venkat has acquired various certifications, including Future of Technology: Trends, Strategies, and Innovation Opportunities, Artificial Intelligence - Business Strategies and Applications, and Data Science: Bridging Principles and Practice from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Venkat has also obtained certifications in related fields such as Machine Learning, Data Warehousing, Digital Marketing, and Strategy and Execution.
