Alvaro Saenz-Laguna

Alvaro Saenz-Laguna is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the wine industry, currently serving as Market Owner for Northern & Western Europe and Export Area Manager for LATAM at Cono Sur Vineyards & Winery since December 2020. Prior to this role, Alvaro held the position of Export Manager at Viña Concha y Toro from December 2017 to December 2020, where responsibilities included managing P&L, sales performance, and business development in English-speaking Caribbean markets, as well as planning and negotiating commercial strategies with key distributors and retailers. Alvaro's career includes experience as a Key Account Manager at LAP Import-New York, managing key accounts for a gourmet products distributor. Earlier, Alvaro was a professional football player at Club Deportivo Huachipato from 2010 to 2015. Alvaro holds a degree from Universidad del Desarrollo and has completed education through the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
