David Taylor

David Taylor is an experienced energy industry professional with over 15 years at ConocoPhillips, currently serving as Director of Power & Gas Origination, overseeing third-party business agreements and managing long-term structured transactions in Western, ERCOT, and MISO markets. Notable achievements include driving 200% year-on-year volumetric growth in Western Markets and generating significant reductions in supply costs through effective negotiation of long-term agreements. Prior roles included Portfolio Manager in PJM, where David developed strategies that extracted additional revenue from portfolios, and Trader for Real Time Energy, responsible for trading in various markets. Earlier experience at Fulcrum Energy allowed David to manage natural gas operations and optimize generation assets. David holds a BBA in Finance from St. Edward’s University.
