Anne Nelson Stoner

Anne Nelson Stoner currently serves as the Outreach & Engagement Manager at the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission and as a Community Engagement Consultant for the Consensus Building Institute. Stoner has also held positions as an Assistant Editor at Storey Publishing and Project Coordinator at the Institute for Engagement & Negotiation, where project work included evaluations and assessments related to food banks and healthcare partnerships. Previous experiences include a Graduate Research Assistant at The Equity Center, an Organic Farmer at Bellair Farm, and various roles in community health and agriculture. Anne Nelson Stoner holds a Master’s degree in Urban & Environmental Planning from The University of Virginia School of Architecture and a Bachelor’s degree in Global Development Studies and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Virginia. Additional educational experiences include outdoor education and leadership training with NOLS and a high school diploma from St. Anne's-Belfield School.
