Emily Nyrop

VP, Climate Change at Conservation International

Emily Nyrop serves as Vice President of Climate Strategy at Conservation International, focusing on sustainable solutions for nature and the well-being of Indigenous and local communities. Nyrop is also a Guest Lecturer at Harvard University. Previously, Nyrop worked at Gordian Knot Strategies as an Advisor, where guidance was provided for a $200M blended finance fund aimed at promoting green construction materials. At The Bridgespan Group, Nyrop helped launch a $50M fund addressing climate change and equity issues. Earlier experience includes a Strategy Manager role at Accenture, where project management and stakeholder alignment were key responsibilities, along with consulting positions that fostered entrepreneurship among low-income populations. Nyrop holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University, an MBA from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University.
