Orissa Samaroo serves as Vice President at Conservation International, leading the GEF Agency with a focus on policy and portfolio management since April 2011. Prior experience includes a position as Junior Professional Associate at the Global Environment Facility, where responsibilities involved supporting business strategy and developing management frameworks, as well as contributing to targeted learning missions. Early career experience includes an Operations and Research Assistant role at The World Bank, assisting in projects funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Orissa holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from SUNY Geneseo and a Master’s degree in International Development from The George Washington University.
