Richard Jeo

Chief Field Officer, Asia-Pacific at Conservation International

Richard Jeo is the SVP of the Asia-Pacific Field Division at Conservation International. Richard has dedicated their career to conservation and has worked for several organizations in leadership positions.

Jeo started their career as a Student Program Leader / Scientist at Round River Conservation Studies from 1997 to 2003. Richard then became the Coastal Forest Director at The Nature Conservancy from 2003 to 2008. In 2009, they became the Montana State Director at The Nature Conservancy and held that position until 2018. Richard has been with Conservation International since 2018.

Jeo has been instrumental in developing and implementing conservation strategies at all levels. Richard is a respected leader in the field and their work has helped protect countless acres of land and countless species of wildlife.

Richard Jeo's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Penn State University. Richard also holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience from Caltech.
