Josh Schoffstall has a diverse work experience in the construction industry, with a focus on safety. Josh began their career as a Laborer at JVS Landscaping from May 2014 to August 2017. Josh then gained further experience as a Safety Intern at The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western from May 2018 to August 2018. From January 2019 to April 2021, they worked as a Safety Engineer at Grunley Construction Company, Inc., before being promoted to Sr. Safety Engineer from April 2021 to March 2022. Currently, they are serving as an Assistant Safety Manager at Consigli Construction Co., Inc. starting from March 2022.

Josh Schoffstall obtained a Bachelor's degree in Safety Management from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Josh also holds several additional certifications, including STSC (Safety Trained Supervisor Construction) obtained in January 2020 from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. In October 2019, they completed the Silica Competent Person Train-the-Trainer course at the Chesapeake Region Safety Council. In June 2019, they also completed the Fall Protection Train-the-Trainer and Scaffold Train-the-Trainer courses at the same institution. Moreover, in May 2019, they completed the Excavation, Trenching & Soil Mechanics Train-the-Trainer (Competent Person) course. In February 2019, they obtained the ASHM certification from ISHM and the Graduate Safety Practitioner certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Josh also completed the Construction Safety 30 Hour Training and the General Industry 10-Hour Training from OSHA in May 2017. Lastly, they obtained the CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the National Safety Council in October 2019.
