Jacob Hawley

From 2018 to 2022, Jacob Hawley gained work experience in the construction industry. Jacob started as an intern at W.M. Jordan Company in 2018, where they had field work responsibilities on an $80 million Marriott Hotel project, including surveying the site and layout floor plans. In 2019, they worked as an intern for the same company in field operations at a 20-story hotel project, focusing on completions lists and creating punch lists. In 2020, Jacob continued their internship at W.M. Jordan Company as a project engineering intern. In 2021, they worked as an intern at W.M. Jordan Company, and in 2022, Jacob joined Consigli Construction Co., Inc. as a project engineer.

Jacob Hawley completed their education at Virginia Tech from 2018 to 2022, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering. In addition to their degree, they obtained various certifications throughout their education and professional career. In May 2019, they received the OSHA 10-hour certification from the OSHA Safety Training Institute. Furthermore, in July 2022, they became Procore Certified in three areas: Project Manager (Core Tools), Project Manager (Project Management), and Project Manager (Quality & Safety), all from Procore Technologies.
