Kensey Waterman has diverse work experience spanning various industries. They began their career as a Research Assistant at Siena College in 2014. They then worked as a Sales Associate at Marshalls Distribution Center from 2015 to 2016, where they excelled in inventory management and customer service.
In 2012, Waterman joined Frank O. Waterman Associates as an Assistant Engineer, where they gained expertise in surveying, construction engineering, and redesigning buildings. In this role, they also demonstrated proficiency in using Topcon Total station and automatic level equipment. They remained with the company until 2017.
Next, Waterman joined Mott MacDonald in 2017 as a Mechanical Engineer I, progressing to a Mechanical Engineer II and then a Mechanical Engineer III. At Mott MacDonald, they specialized in power plant design and consulting services globally. They also conducted Due Diligence Reports for multiple companies. In addition to their engineering roles, Waterman also served as an Advancing Disability Champion, raising awareness and providing disability inclusion resources for over 2500 employees.
Parallel to their engineering career, Waterman had coaching experiences starting in 2009 at Scorpions Soccer Club, instructing talented youths and preparing them for collegiate soccer. In 2020, they joined Canton High School as an Assistant Varsity Soccer Coach, and in 2021, they worked as a Soccer Coach at America FC Bolts, focusing on a group of u11 girls.
Waterman's coaching journey continued in 2022 as they became the Head Coach of FC Greater Boston Bolts, further establishing their expertise in soccer coaching.
Most recently, Waterman joined Consigli Construction Co., Inc. in 2022 as a Senior Project Engineer at Arch Energy, a division of the company. This role marks their foray into the construction industry, where they oversee project management and engineering operations.
Throughout their career, Waterman has consistently demonstrated a passion for engineering, coaching, and promoting inclusivity in the workplace.
Kensey Waterman's education history begins in 2012, when they enrolled at Siena College to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Physics. They completed their studies at Siena College in 2016.
In 2015, Kensey Waterman joined Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. This educational endeavor lasted until 2017.
Apart from their formal education, Kensey Waterman obtained a certification as a Project Manager (Core Tools) from Procore Technologies in March 2022.
