Lain Zembek

Lain Zembek has a diverse work experience in the construction and engineering industry. Lain started their career as a Construction Laborer at DBS Remodel in 2020 before moving on to work as a Mechanical Designer at Henderson Engineers from 2019 to 2020. During their time at Henderson Engineers, they gained experience in sizing and drafting ductwork using AutoCAD and Revit, as well as fire protection and sprinkler layouts. Prior to that, Lain worked as a Student Assistant at the WPI BETC Office from 2017 to 2019, where they were responsible for organizing excel spreadsheets and preparing materials for graduate classes. Lain also had a role as an Engineer at Colliers Engineering & Design from 2022 to 2023, and they currently work as an MEP Project Engineer at Consigli Construction Co., Inc. starting in 2023. Lain also has experience working as an MEP Engineer at Consigli Construction Co., Inc. from 2021 to 2022, a Clerk at Broome County Sheriff's Office from 2013 to 2019, a Laborer at ZMK Construction, Inc. in 2018, and an Interactive Qualifying Project participant at Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester from 2017 to 2018. Throughout their various roles, Lain has developed skills in project management, engineering design, organization, and construction.

Lain Zembek attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering.
