Thomas Szczepaniak

Thomas Szczepaniak is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in venture capital, startup advisory, and technology management. Currently serving as a General Partner at Compass Ventures since May 2022, Thomas focuses on investing in cleantech startups. Additionally, as an Advisor at OPTIVALUE and Managing Director at The Impactery, Thomas provides strategic guidance on fundraising and technology scouting, facilitating cross-border deals. Thomas also holds roles in investor relations and as a Global Expert across various organizations, including Inavya Ventures Ltd. and Consilience Ventures. Moreover, Thomas has a strong background in deep tech consulting and R&D project management, having co-founded Hysteresis and led initiatives at PadoTech. Thomas's academic credentials include a Specialized Master in Entrepreneurship from emlyon business school and a Master's degree in Engineering from Grenoble INP - UGA.
