Silvia Iovanut

Silvia Iovanut has a diverse work experience spanning over different industries and roles. Silvia started their career in 1997 as a Nurse Assistant in Göteborgs Stad, where they gained experience in healthcare and delegated tasks such as giving insulin and distributing medicine. In 2000, they moved to Oslo Kommune as a Nurse Assistant and continued performing similar tasks with delegation until 2002.

In 2002, Silvia joined Volvo Cars Torslanda as an Assembly worker, responsible for installing car parts and dealing with production issues as a Resource. Silvia also worked as a Logistics specialist, ensuring efficient material supply for production and managing inventory using systems like MAS and SAMS. Silvia'stenure at Volvo Cars Torslanda lasted until 2012.

Following their time at Volvo, Silvia took on an internship at Extenda Retail in 2013, where they worked as a Software Tester. Silvia then joined Volvo Car Customer Service in 2014 as an Inventory Management professional until 2016.

Starting from 2016, Silvia embarked on a career in the field of Testing and Engineering. Silvia worked as a Test Engineer Consultant at Test Scouts AB and later at Mitsubishi Electric Automotive Europe B.V., specializing in testing Volvo's infotainment system, Sensus Connect. Silvia'srole involved expertise in voice control, navigation, climate, phone, and entertainment areas of the system. Silvia used simulation rigs and tools like Vector CANoe for testing and analyzing signals from individual ECUs.

In 2019, Silvia joined System Verification as a Test Engineer Consultant, working at Volvo Cars on test and analysis for driver information/HMI and vehicle functions. Silvia continued their work with the iCUP system and tools such as Elektra, DSA, Jira, and Vector CANoe. Silvia'srole extended to include working on Volvo and Polestar2(EV) in simulation rigs and in vehicles. Silvia remained at System Verification until at least September 2021.

Currently, Silvia is employed as a Test Engineer at Consilium Safety Group, starting in February 2021. No specific end date is provided for this role.

Throughout their career, Silvia has gained experience in various aspects of testing, analysis, engineering, and management within the automotive industry, demonstrating their adaptability and continuous professional growth.

Silvia Iovanut obtained a Certified degree in Software Testing from KYH from 2012 to 2014, accumulating 300 Yh points. In 2014, they pursued a Certified degree in Web Design at Folkuniversitetet. Additionally, Silvia has obtained various certifications including a taxi driver license from the Transportstyrelsen in August 2019, an ISTQB Foundation Certificate from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in September 2013, a forklift driver license TLP-10 from Linde Material Handling in September 2004, and a Swedish driver license B from the Transportstyrelsen in September 2003.
