Chas Capitano

Chas Capitano, CSP, currently serves as the HSSE Site Manager at Consolidated Contractors Company, overseeing HSSE responsibilities for the construction of the world's largest blue ammonia facility since July 2023. Prior to this role, Chas was the Project HSSE Manager at Clough, where responsibilities included HSSE oversight for an ethylene-to-alkylate production facility from November 2021 to June 2023. Chas also held the position of Site HSE Director at McDermott International Inc., managing HSE for a High-Density Polyethylene plant from December 2018 to October 2021, and at CB&I, where significant projects achieved over 13 million hours without lost time incidents. Earlier experience includes various HSE-related roles at The Shockey Companies and CB&I, culminating in a degree in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
