Zelma Cilliers

Zelma Cilliers serves as the Vice President of IT at Consolidated Metco since July 2024. Previously, Zelma held the position of CIO Enterprise Solutions at Mercedes-Benz USA from September 2018 to March 2024, leading technology strategy and enterprise applications for vehicle sales, distribution, and services, managing a team of 50 internal employees and 200 global contractors. From January 2017 to September 2018, Zelma functioned as CIO at Mercedes-Benz Canada, focusing on technology transformation and IT performance management with a budget of approximately $11 million. Zelma's experience at Mercedes-Benz from 2007 to 2016 included various IT leadership roles across three countries, notably managing a €450 million initiative to standardize financial services in five European nations with a centralized IT system. Zelma holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Computer Science from North-West University, earned between 1986 and 1989.
